At Brockenhurst Pre-School we give children the opportunity to play in the fresh air, we foster their ideas and care for them in a stimulating environment. I believe that with a positive attitude to learning, children will reach their full potential in later life, we are building those foundations.

I have been involved with Brockenhurst Pre-School since moving to Brockenhurst in 1994, advancing from mum to mum helper, to playgroup helper and finally to playgroup supervisor. I take pride and joy in helping the pre-school children take their very important step into 'big school' and on their way to becoming well rounded and independent human beings.  We visit Brockenhurst C of E Primary School for many settling in sessions during the summer term.

I have been at Brockenhurst Pre-School since January 2006, working principally with 2 year olds.  I believe that even at this young age the children should be respected as autonomous and competent learners who learn by doing and through being allowed to make choices and decisions for themselves.  The learning environment at Pre-School aims to provide the children with these opportunities.
